This Privacy Policy explains how Seoul Dak ("Seoul Dak", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use this website (eatseouldak.com).

1. Information we collect

• Job applications & talent pool: name, email, phone number, résumé/CV, work preferences, and any other details you submit through our careers forms.
• Enquiries & communications: if you contact us or opt in to updates, your name, phone number (including for WhatsApp and SMS), email, and the content of your messages.
• Automatically collected: device and usage data (browser type, pages viewed, approximate location from your IP) and online identifiers via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see "Cookies & tracking" below).
• Location: if you use the nearest-outlet feature, your device location is used in your browser only to sort outlets by distance. It is not stored or sent to us.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to review and respond to job applications, manage our talent pool, operate and improve the website, respond to your enquiries, and, where you have given consent or where otherwise permitted by law, to send you marketing messages and to plan, deliver, and measure our advertising and campaigns.

3. Where your data is stored

Application data and uploaded résumés are processed and stored using Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication and Storage). Google processes this data on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms.

4. Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: essential (to make the site work), analytics (to understand how the site is used), and advertising (to deliver and measure our campaigns). Our analytics tools include Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity; Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session activity such as clicks, scrolls, and mouse movement (text you enter is masked by default) to help us improve the site. Our advertising technologies include the Google tag / Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Pixel. You can control or refuse cookies through your browser settings; refusing some may affect how the site works.

5. Advertising & marketing

We promote Seoul Dak on platforms including Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). These platforms set cookies/pixels on your device to measure ad performance and show you relevant ads, including remarketing (showing our ads after you have visited the site). We may also share limited contact details, such as a hashed email or phone number, with these platforms to create or match advertising audiences (for example Google Customer Match and Meta Custom Audiences). Each platform processes this data under its own terms.

You can manage ad personalisation at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and through your Facebook / Instagram ad preferences, or opt out via youronlinechoices.com.

6. WhatsApp, SMS & other messaging

If you contact us or opt in, we may message you on WhatsApp and (in future) by SMS for service messages such as application or order updates, and, with your consent, for marketing and campaign messages. WhatsApp messaging is provided by Meta and is also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

You can opt out of marketing messages at any time: reply STOP to an SMS, tell us on WhatsApp, or email Care@eatseouldak.com. We may still send essential service messages relating to a request you made.

7. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: service providers who help us run the site (e.g. Google Firebase); analytics and advertising partners (e.g. Google, Microsoft, and Meta) as described above; messaging providers (e.g. WhatsApp / Meta and any SMS provider we use); and where required by law. Ordering links take you to third-party platforms (e.g. Zomato), which have their own privacy policies.

8. Data retention

We keep application data only as long as needed for recruitment purposes or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Marketing contact details are kept until you opt out.

9. Your rights & choices

Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent or opt out of marketing at any time. To make a request, contact us at Care@eatseouldak.com.
